Ameridrives Turboflex GC couplings are utilized on compressors and pumps, inclined & overland conveyors, crushers, fans and HVAC systems, shovels & draglines, and winders & hoists. Shovel & draglines often use Amerigear gear couplings on swing & propel and hoist & drag drivetrains. Amerigear couplings connect the motor to the speed reducer & the gear drive to the pinion gear on ball & sag mills. Amerigear rigid special overhung moment coupling is used for head pulley conveyor connection to motor gearbox drive package. Amerigear couplings also transmit very high torque at low speeds in a small envelope between the driven sheave assembly and the crusher drive shaft.
